As the first-ever dancing museum in Singapore, expo zéro is an ‘exhibition’ project without works: no photographs, no sculptures, no installations or videos; but it is of artists, and areas occupied by gestures, projects, bodies, stories, dances which everyone will choose to imagine.Expo Zéro is a think tank with moving objectives; it wishes to invite art in its most volatile manifestations. Through analysis, description, performance, movements and ideas which each artist will develop with the audience, and the geography of an expanding territory. The making of a contemporary dance museum.Expo Zéro is headed by Boris Charmatz in collaboration with dancers and choreographers, François Chaignuad, Mette Ingvartsen and Yves-Noël Genod.
